Chefette Restaurants and its Frosteez Ice Cream brand continue to heavily support the wider community with their philanthropic outreach activities.

Recently the yearly contributions were made to the homes and took the form of household items, bed linens, towels, kitchenware etc.

These children’s homes receiving the donations were:

• Mc Manus & Ellen Horejsi Centre
• Shelley’s Cottage
• Ty’s Cottage
• Violet Gittens Centre

Marquest Clarke-Griffith, Marketing Officer of Chefette, stated “Giving is such a wonderful feeling and giving to some of the children of Barbados is even more enjoyable. These children are our future leaders and knowing that we at Chefette & Frosteez have imparted in some way in their day to day living is something we cherish and will continue to be part of.”

House parent of the Homes Ms. Marcia Burke said, “We at the Child Care Board Residential Homes are very thankful for your annual generous donation of Christmas items. They are needed and appreciated in quantity and quality. Over the years the Chefette Family became part of us and always satisfy us with your choices. Thank you.
