Youth with a Mission Receives Donation From Chefette

Local charities continue to benefit from financial support received from Chefette Restaurants. Since 2001 Chefette’s Donations Box Programme have been making quarterly donations to Charities who continue to make a difference in the community.

Youth with a Mission (YWAM) is the most recent recipient, having received $4,500.00. Jack McCall, one of YWAM leaders, collected the funds and said “Youth with A Mission is very grateful to Chefette Restaurants and its customers who have given generously through the donation box programme.”

Donations help us to continue running our programs that are designed to impact individuals and bring transformation to them, their families, communities and the island. These funds will be used to help us with improvements to our facility and in purchasing new mattresses and kitchen equipment, which are way overdue to be upgraded.”

Lisa Carter, Chefette’s Advertising Manager said “We will continue to assist our local Charites as we are committed to giving back to our communities. It is also heartwarming to see organizations such as YWAM assisting our youth to develop spiritually through evangelism and service projects. We are also grateful to our loyal Customers and Staff for their very generous contributions towards our Donation Box Programme.”

The donation boxes have been placed in all Chefette Restaurants and BBQ Barns allowing our customers and staff members to make monetary contributions, which are then donated to charity. Donations to local charities are made four times a year, with Chefette’s Corporate Office making a monetary contribution towards the funds collected.
