Chefette Educational Tours Continue With Treats for 400 Students

Approximately 400 students from Summer Camps across the island Secondary & Primary Schools received a special treat, thanks to Chefette Restaurants.  These students and over twenty teachers from The St. Michael School, St. Jude’s Primary, Arthur Smith Primary & Brownies & Cub Scouts from different Packs, Chefette Ambassadors 2Mile Hill, Akela Jones & Speed Team Girls Nadia, Deandra and Michelle all got the opportunity to tour places of Interest in Barbados, Harrison’s Cave, Barbados Concorde Experience, Barbados Museum, The Airport Fire Station & PEG Farm & Nature Reserve.

During the tours, the excited children were given the opportunity to be hands on with the emergency equipment at the Fire Station and they enjoyed the outdoor activities immensely at the other places of interest.

Teachers from the various schools were very impressed and commented on their visit.      Colette Applewaithe & Dario Brewster teachers of St. Michael School said “The Cave was Simply Magical. It was also educative and the thought of preserving our environment in order to preserve such a wonder was made clear.”  Dario Brewster stated” The staff was very pleasant and attentive and the food delicious! The Ice Cream at the New Chefette Rockley Parlour was especially good!!! Simply the best!”

Marketing Officer, Marquest Clarke-Griffith, said “It was indeed a pleasure once again to invite and tour the young people of this Island.  Their eagerness for knowledge is impressive and it’s always a joy to watch them express their enjoyment on these tours.”

Both children and teachers were treated to lunch at our Rockley location along with promotional items and were also given the opportunity to try the New Ice Cream Parlour at Chefette Rockley.
